The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Bow Tie Bigsby Telecaster Closet Classic in Pewter is a distinctive and beautifully appointed interpretation of the Telecaster, bringing together a mahogany body, roasted quartersawn maple neck, and an expressive pairing of Lollar pickups. Its lacquer finish and Closet Classic treatment give the guitar the appearance of a well-preserved vintage instrument, while the Pewter finish adds a sophisticated and understated character.

The roasted quartersawn maple neck features Fender’s 10/56 “V” profile and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. A 25.5-inch scale and rosewood fingerboard provide the familiar Telecaster playing feel, while the 7.25 to 9.50-inch compound radius offers a comfortable transition across the neck. Twenty-one frets and elegant Mother of Pearl position inlays complete the refined vintage-inspired design.

The SS pickup configuration pairs a Lollar Blackface Special Telecaster bridge pickup with a Lollar Charlie Christian neck pickup. The Blackface Special delivers the articulate attack, bite, and character associated with a great Telecaster bridge pickup, while the Charlie Christian brings a larger, warmer and more powerful voice to the neck position. Volume and tone controls combine with a three-position toggle for bridge, bridge and neck, or neck pickup selection.

A Bigsby B5 vibrato tailpiece with RSD J-Bridge provides expressive vibrato while maintaining a solid and comfortable playing platform. Chrome and nickel hardware, vintage Fender tuning machines, a Closet Classic Gold/Black/Gold pickguard, knurled chrome control knobs, and a Switchcraft top hat switch tip complete the period-inspired presentation. Strung with Fender .010 to .046 strings and housed in a tweed hardshell case, this 8-pound 15-ounce Limited Edition Custom Shop Telecaster is a highly distinctive blend of vintage styling, boutique pickup character, and Bigsby-equipped versatility.
