The Fender Custom Shop Brian Fallon Telecaster Journeyman Relic in Black is a deeply expressive instrument that captures the timeless spirit of a road worn classic while reflecting the unmistakable voice and style of one of modern rock's most respected songwriters. Finished in an elegant Journeyman Relic lacquer treatment, its lightly aged Black finish, white body binding, and carefully weathered hardware evoke the character of a cherished companion that has spent years creating unforgettable music. Every mark and detail has been thoughtfully crafted to deliver the authentic feel of a vintage instrument with the precision and reliability of the Fender Custom Shop.

Built from a resonant two piece alder body in the iconic 1960 Tele Custom style, this guitar delivers the balanced warmth, clarity, and lively response that have defined legendary Telecaster tone for generations. The gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish allows the body to resonate freely while naturally aging over time, enhancing both its appearance and tonal character. A striking white bound body provides an elegant visual contrast against the classic Black finish, giving the instrument a sophisticated presence that is equally at home under stage lights or in the studio.

The rift sawn maple neck is carved to a comfortable 1960 Style Oval C profile, offering an inviting feel that inspires confidence from the very first chord. Finished in medium tint nitrocellulose lacquer, the neck has the warm amber glow of a well preserved vintage original while maintaining a smooth, broken in feel. A rosewood fingerboard with a modern 9.5 inch radius, 21 frets, bone nut, and white Micarta side dots provides effortless playability, blending vintage character with contemporary comfort for expressive bends, articulate rhythm work, and fluid lead playing.

At the heart of this signature model is a specially voiced pickup combination designed to deliver remarkable versatility without sacrificing authentic Telecaster personality. The RS 4th MAN Tele bridge pickup produces the unmistakable snap, bite, and dynamic response that define classic Fender tone, while the RS 4th MAN Split single coil neck pickup offers warm, articulate cleans with exceptional depth and clarity. Together with the dual stack Telecaster controls, these pickups provide an inspiring range of tones that move effortlessly from intimate, soulful passages to bold, driving rock textures while retaining outstanding note separation and sensitivity to every nuance of a player's touch.

Vintage inspired appointments complete the package with equal attention to authenticity and performance. Vintage Fender logo tuning machines provide dependable tuning stability, while the vintage Telecaster bridge fitted with RSD saddles delivers classic resonance with improved intonation. A relic aged white three ply parchment, black, parchment pickguard complements the black finish beautifully, while the relic Top Hat switch tip reinforces the guitar's understated vintage aesthetic, completing an instrument that looks every bit as seasoned as it sounds.

Factory strung with .010 to .046 strings and weighing just 7 pounds 9 ounces, the Brian Fallon Telecaster offers exceptional balance and comfort for extended playing sessions. Complete with its Fender Custom Shop accessories, this Journeyman Relic is more than a signature model. It is a guitar built to tell stories through every note, combining vintage soul, modern craftsmanship, and the unmistakable character that inspires songs destined to be played for years to come.
