Its alder body wings feature a distinctive maple burl top, finished in high gloss polyester to showcase the intricate wood grain and rich, earthy tones. A three-piece Honduran mahogany and flame maple through-neck, accented by a roasted maple headstock cap, completes the sophisticated design. Weighing just 7 lbs 6 oz, this Ball Family Reserve guitar offers excellent comfort and balance for demanding stage and studio performances.

The neck features an ebony fingerboard, cream binding, and elegant Atlante Majesty inlays, complemented by a smooth high gloss polyester finish. Its 25-1/2-inch scale length, 17-inch fingerboard radius, and 24 medium-jumbo stainless steel frets provide precise articulation and fluid playability. The seven-string design offers a 1-7/8-inch nut width and 2-19/32-inch width at the last fret, providing room for extended-range techniques and complex chord voicings. Through-neck construction ensures comfortable access to the upper frets, while Graph Tech Ratio locking tuners and an adjustable truss rod accessible without removing components or strings provide reliable tuning stability and convenient maintenance.

DiMarzio Rainmaker neck and Dreamcatcher bridge humbuckers work alongside Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles to deliver a versatile tonal palette, ranging from powerful, articulate electric sounds to natural acoustic-inspired textures. The custom John Petrucci Music Man floating tremolo features hardened steel construction and integrated piezo saddles for expressive performance and added versatility.
