The Huss & Dalton 000 SP in Dark Forest Century Cypress and Figured Black Walnut is a beautifully expressive instrument, rich with natural character and steeped in the understated elegance of traditional acoustic design. Its Century Cypress soundboard comes from reclaimed timber that spent part of its history submerged, naturally preserved before being recovered and given an entirely new life in the hands of Huss & Dalton. The top displays a gorgeous range of honey, amber, olive, and smoky brown hues, giving the guitar an earthy, almost weathered beauty that immediately hints at the story held within the wood.

Century Cypress is wonderfully light and responsive, with a quick attack, dry clarity, and an open quality that makes the guitar feel seasoned from its very first notes. Paired with Figured Black Walnut, its voice gains warmth, depth, and a distinctly woody sweetness. Walnut brings much of the fundamental strength and directness associated with mahogany, but adds greater harmonic color, a rounder low end, and a soft shimmer through the upper register.
