The Gibson Custom Shop PSL '64 ES-335 Figured Reissue in Gloss Antiquity Burst beautifully captures the elegance, tone, and craftsmanship of a legendary 1964 semi-hollowbody. Featuring a stunning three-ply figured maple/poplar/maple body, solid maple centerblock, and classic Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish, this exceptional instrument combines vintage character with unmistakable Gibson style. The solid mahogany neck features an authentic '64 Medium C profile, long tenon construction, and hide glue fit. Its Indian rosewood fingerboard features small block cellulose nitrate inlays, a 12-inch radius, and 22 authentic medium-jumbo frets. Additional vintage-correct appointments include a nylon nut, authentic 1950s no-tube truss rod, and traditional stepped two-ply truss rod cover.

Two unpotted Gibson Custombuckers deliver beautifully articulate vintage-inspired tones, with warmth, clarity, dynamic response, and rich harmonic character. The hand-wired electronics feature CTS 500K audio taper potentiometers, paper-in-oil capacitors, and Switchcraft three-way switching and output components. An ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles, lightweight aluminum stop bar, Kluson single-line double-ring tuners, nickel hardware, and black five-ply pickguard complete its authentic vintage appearance.
