PRS Private Stock #11884 DGT - Purple Glow #403844

PRS Private Stock #11884 DGT Purple Glow is an extraordinary expression of the DGT platform, combining rare woods, intricate inlay work, and the unmistakable artistry of the PRS Private Stock program. Weighing 7 lbs 14 oz, this exceptional instrument features a one piece quilted maple top over a Black Limba back and Black Limba DGT neck, all brought to life with a luminous Purple Glow finish. The high gloss nitro finish highlights the depth and movement of the quilted maple, while the satin nitro neck offers a smooth, natural feel in the hand. The Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard adds warmth and richness to the elegant foundation, with the woods personally selected by Eddie's Guitars from the PRS Private Stock Vault.

The detailing is every bit as remarkable as the woods. The Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard carries Charoite Stone bird inlays surrounded by White Mother of Pearl outlines, complemented by white Mother of Pearl side dots. The Quilted Maple headstock veneer features a Charoite Stone Private Stock Eagle with a White Mother of Pearl outline, while the heel is adorned with the striking White, Black & Gold Mother of Pearl "Eddie's Eagle" inlay. A Quilted Maple truss rod cover and Black Limba back plates complete the carefully coordinated design, creating an instrument where every surface reveals another layer of Private Stock craftsmanship.

Sonically, this DGT is equipped with DGT treble and DGT bass pickups, offering the articulate, dynamic character and expressive response expected from the platform. The control layout features two volume controls, one push/pull tone control, and a three way toggle for a versatile and intuitive range of sounds. Smoked Black hardware provides a dramatic contrast to the Purple Glow finish, including a Gen II tremolo bridge and PRS Phase III set screw locking tuning pegs with stained curly maple buttons. The result is an instrument that brings together visual depth, tonal versatility, and refined playability in equal measure.

This Private Stock DGT is completed with PRS Signature .010 strings and comes in its Private Stock Brown Paisley case. Its combination of one piece quilted maple, Black Limba, Brazilian Rosewood, Charoite Stone, White Mother of Pearl, Smoked Black hardware, and DGT pickups makes #11884 a truly distinctive instrument. From the shimmering Purple Glow across the quilted maple to the intricate stone and pearl inlays, every detail contributes to an instrument with a sense of depth, individuality, and understated drama. It is a remarkable Private Stock creation that captures the beauty of exceptional materials and the artistry of a guitar built with extraordinary attention to detail.
