Martin 000-EC 30th Anniversary Eric Clapton - Spruce & Indian Rosewood #500

The Martin 000-EC 30th Anniversary Eric Clapton Edition #500 is a beautifully crafted tribute to one of the most celebrated acoustic guitar collaborations in music history. Featuring a premium spruce top paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides, this exceptional 000-14 fret combines timeless Martin craftsmanship with elegant vintage-inspired appointments. The Antique Toner top finish, fine herringbone trim, multi-stripe rosette, and faux tortoise pickguard create a sophisticated appearance that honors the original Eric Clapton signature design.

The mahogany neck features an Authentic 1939 profile with standard taper, joined to the body using traditional dovetail construction. Its 24.9-inch scale length and 1 11/16-inch bone nut provide a comfortable playing experience, while the ebony fingerboard and modern belly ebony bridge complete its classic appointments. Scalloped X-bracing with 5/16-inch spruce braces enhances resonance, responsiveness, and tonal balance.

Additional details include nickel open-gear tuning machines with Butterbean knobs, a compensated bone saddle, abalone bridge pin dots, and an East Indian rosewood headplate with authentic script-style overlay. The gloss finish on the top, back, and sides highlights the natural beauty of the tonewoods, while the zig-zag back strip and multi-stripe detailing add distinctive visual refinement. This instrument is Pleked and features a numbered paper label with Eric Clapton's pre-printed signature.

Weighing just 3 lbs 15 oz, this special 30th Anniversary edition represents a beautiful combination of musical heritage, exceptional tonewoods, and meticulous Martin craftsmanship. Numbered #500, it is a particularly desirable example for players and collectors alike. Complete with its Martin hardshell case.
