The Suhr Pete Thorn Signature in Garnet Red is a beautifully refined Pete Thorn SS Standard, right-handed, serial 01-SIG-0029, designed with a focused balance of character, comfort, and versatility. Its chambered two-piece Genuine Mahogany body is topped with a two-piece 3/16" Plain Maple cap, finished in a striking Garnet Red over Black with a high-gloss finish. Arm, hand, and tummy contours provide a comfortable playing experience, while the chambered construction keeps the instrument at a balanced 7 lbs 10 oz. A clean aesthetic is maintained with no pickguard, scraped binding, Chrome hardware, and Black Satin cavity covers.
The Mahogany neck features a Black satin finish and an Even C Slim profile measuring .800" to .880", offering a smooth and comfortable feel across the neck. The Indian Rosewood fingerboard has a 10" to 14" compound radius with a standard roll, 22 stainless steel jumbo frets, Mother of Pearl face dots and side dots, and no scalloping. The five-way Black blade selector is paired with Volume and Tone controls, with a Push-Pull option that places the bridge pickup in parallel mode for an additional clear and open tonal character.
