The Suhr Oso Short-Scale in Bengal Burst is a beautifully executed blend of classic single-cutaway styling, modern versatility, and the uncompromising craftsmanship for which Suhr guitars are renowned. Built in Lake Elsinore, California, this distinctive Oso features a two-piece genuine mahogany body finished in a stunning Bengal Burst gloss, showcasing the natural beauty and warmth of the wood. Its 24.625-inch short scale offers a familiar, comfortable playing feel with a slightly more relaxed string tension, creating an exceptionally inviting instrument for expressive lead work, rich chord voicings, and everything in between.

The mahogany neck features Suhr's Historic C profile, measuring .850 inches at the first fret and .950 inches at the twelfth fret, providing a comfortable, substantial feel without sacrificing playability. A satin neck finish enhances playing comfort, while the Indian rosewood fingerboard features a 10-inch radius with standard rolled edges and 22 nickel heavy frets. The silver script Suhr logo adds an understated finishing touch, complemented by precision Suhr locking chrome tuning machines for dependable tuning stability.

The electronics deliver an impressive range of tonal possibilities through a Suhr SSV Zebra neck humbucker and Suhr SSH Zebra bridge humbucker. A five-way selector switch, master volume, and master tone control provide access to a versatile palette of sounds, ranging from warm, articulate neck tones to powerful bridge pickup punch and a variety of blended pickup combinations. The Suhr two-post bridge features solid saddles and a steel block, finished in chrome for a combination of stability, sustain, and dependable performance.

Weighing 8 lbs. 5 oz., this Suhr Oso Short-Scale brings together premium mahogany construction, thoughtfully designed ergonomics, versatile humbucker electronics, and exceptional American craftsmanship. Finished in the captivating Bengal Burst and accompanied by a softshell case, it is a beautifully appointed instrument that balances traditional character with modern precision.
