The James Tyler Dann Huff Original Classic in 3-Tone Sunburst is an exceptional instrument that brings together boutique craftsmanship, iconic styling, and the distinctive performance features of one of the industry's most respected guitar designs. Featuring a solid alder body with a beautiful gloss 3-Tone Sunburst finish, this guitar is paired with a quartersawn maple neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard. Its natural headstock, tinted gloss neck, and elegant white mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays complete its classic appearance, while the distinctive California headstock signature and Dann Huff logo on the back add a personal touch.
The maple neck features a thin profile, comfortable 1 5/8-inch nut width, and wide/tall frets for exceptional playability and precision. Traditional Kluson tuning machines are paired with a Floyd Rose locking bridge and locking nut, providing excellent tuning stability and expressive tremolo performance. Additional appointments include a single-ply black pickguard, chrome hardware, and a clean rear body without a tremolo cover.
Equipped with Seymour Duncan Hot Stack pickups in the neck and middle positions and a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker in the bridge, this Original Classic offers an impressive range of tonal possibilities. The advanced electronics feature a five-way selector, 500K volume control, 250K tone control, mid-boost preamp with bypass button, series/parallel switching, and additional neck and bridge pickup combinations. The preamp is bypassed in the up position, providing exceptional flexibility for everything from expressive cleans to powerful, cutting lead tones.
Weighing 7 lbs 13 oz, this James Tyler Dann Huff Original Classic represents a remarkable combination of premium construction, sophisticated electronics, and professional-level versatility. With its gorgeous 3-Tone Sunburst finish, distinctive Dann Huff appointments, and carefully selected Seymour Duncan pickups, it is an outstanding instrument for the serious player and collector.
