The Santa Cruz Founder Collection OOO is a beautifully crafted tribute to traditional acoustic guitar design, combining premium tonewoods with the exceptional workmanship for which Santa Cruz Guitar Company is renowned. Featuring a Sitka Spruce top paired with Indian Rosewood back and sides, this 12-fret model offers an elegant balance of warmth, clarity, and rich tonal complexity. Its clear top finish, ivoroid binding, herringbone purfling, and matching ivoroid rosette create a timeless vintage aesthetic, complemented by a tortoise pickguard and distinctive rosewood back stripe.
Scalloped bracing and carefully considered voicing allow the instrument to deliver an expressive, responsive voice with impressive resonance and dynamic sensitivity. The mahogany neck features a traditional V profile without a volute, paired with an ebony fingerboard adorned with the short diamond and squares inlay pattern. Ivoroid fingerboard binding, black side dots, a comfortable 1 3/4-inch nut width, and 25.375-inch scale length complete its refined playing feel.
The slotted ebony headstock features ivoroid binding and the Santa Cruz mini headstock inlay, fitted with elegant nickel Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons. A 2 3/16-inch fingerboard width at the 12th fret provides comfortable spacing, while the clear matte neck finish offers a natural playing experience. Every detail reflects a thoughtful balance of traditional appointments and meticulous craftsmanship.
Weighing just 3 pounds 12 ounces, the Santa Cruz Founder Collection OOO is an exceptionally lightweight and responsive instrument with timeless character and remarkable tonal sophistication.
