The C-00 stands as the newest addition to the C10 Series, and it feels less like an experiment and more like a natural evolution. It takes the familiar small-body footprint and reshapes it into something more immediate and responsive, with a voice that feels remarkably open for its size. The Sitka spruce top, paired with Collings’ custom C-00 X brace and abbreviated tongue brace, delivers a lively, articulate response with surprising headroom. Honduran mahogany on the back, sides, and neck brings warmth and focus, giving the instrument a balanced tonal core that excels whether played lightly or with intent.

Visually, the sunburst finish highlights the tight, even grain of the spruce, framed by ivoroid binding and a clean ivoroid rosette with black and white purfling.
