The Honduran mahogany neck is carved to Collings' comfortable Modified V profile, measuring .870 inches at the first fret and .952 inches at the ninth fret, and is finished in high gloss polyester resin for a smooth, durable feel. A compound 14 inch to 26 inch fingerboard radius, medium 18 percent nickel silver frets, and a 24 7/8 inch scale length provide exceptional comfort and effortless playability.
