2024 Furch Master's Choice Green Dreadnought Cutaway - Sunburst #125206

The 2024 Furch Master’s Choice Green Dreadnought Cutaway is a beautifully crafted, performance-oriented acoustic guitar that combines premium tonewoods, meticulous voicing, and Furch’s innovative construction techniques. Finished in a stunning Sunburst, this example features a solid AA-grade Torrefied Sitka Spruce soundboard paired with solid AA-grade Indian Rosewood back and sides. The torrefied Sitka top offers the warmth, openness, and responsiveness of a well-seasoned instrument, while the Indian Rosewood body delivers a powerful, balanced tonal response with impressive projection and clarity.

Furch individually voices both the top and back soundboards to optimize the instrument’s acoustic performance, while the dreadnought body provides plenty of volume and low-end authority. The 14th-fret neck joint and cutaway offer comfortable access to the upper register, making this guitar equally well suited for strumming, flatpicking, and more intricate fingerstyle playing. Elegant appointments include artificial ivory binding, five-layer black-and-white purfling, a double-ring rosette with walnut inlay, an ebony bridge and bridge pins, and an ebony fingerboard with white pearl position markers and Master’s Choice designation.

The African Mahogany neck features Furch’s comfortable Soft V profile, a 25 9/16" scale length, 1 3/4" TUSQ nut, and a 15 3/4" radius ebony fingerboard with polished frets for exceptionally smooth playability. Furch’s CNR System® Active neck-to-body joint incorporates automatic string-action regulation, while the carbon-reinforced, two-way adjustable truss rod provides additional long-term stability. The neck is finished in Furch’s Full-Pore Smooth-Slide Satin Finish, creating a fast and comfortable feel, while the body and headstock receive a Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish that beautifully showcases the Sunburst finish and figured grain of the premium tonewoods.

Additional appointments include Furch Chrome machine heads with an 18:1 gear ratio, a fully compensated TUSQ saddle, 2 3/16" bridge string spacing, and a 1 1/2" string spacing at the nut. From its individually voiced tonewoods and premium construction to its sophisticated appointments and exceptionally comfortable neck, this 2024 Furch Master’s Choice Green Dreadnought Cutaway is an outstanding example of Furch’s commitment to acoustic performance and craftsmanship.
