Step into the Fender Time Machine, and go back to 1957. That's the year that the Fender Custom Shop Relic Precision Bass represents. This Fender Precision Bass is given a Heavy Relic treatment. Modeled after the original, the '57 P Bass features a roasted Ash body with a roasted 3A flame maple neck, providing you with easy playability, absolute comfort, and incredible stability.

Back in Summer of 2019, we were invited to visit the Fender Custom Shop in Corona, CA. After touring the factory and talking shop with some of Fender's top Master Builders, Granville sat down in the design lab to create what would become Eddie's Guitars first exclusive Fender Custom Shop instruments.

This small run of Jazz Basses takes some of our favorite appointments from the 1950s and meshes them with modern day appointments for the ultimate in sonic qualities and playability. For the person that craves the vintage P bass sound, but never wants to fight with their bass, these are for you! We were also allowed to pick lumber to ensure that the lightest weight and most sonically interesting pieces were selected for our guitars.

Other features include:

  • Roasted Ash Body
  • Roasted Flame Maple 3A Neck
  • 1955 P-Bass Soft "V" Shape Neck
  • 9.5" Radius
  • Medium/Jumbo Frets
  • 59/62 P-Bass Pickups
