The Limited Edition Knotty Pine CuNiFe Tele Relic features a brilliant combination of the finest figured and roasted woods, with customized ’72 Thinline Tele-inspired appointments. A hollow two-piece select roasted pine body with f-hole is topped with a figured knotty pine top and a thin Relic lacquer finish, giving it a well-loved look and remarkable sustain. The tinted flame AA quartersawn maple neck has a ’60 “oval C” profile and is topped with a 9.5”-radius round-lam rosewood fingerboard with 21 jumbo frets for captivating play and deep bends.

Dual wide-range CuNiFe humbucking pickups are wound to the original spec for hum-canceling high-output grit. The CuNiFe-magnet-powered Wide Range pickup delivers rich bell-like humbucking tone with full bass and clear treble. CuNiFe pickups have hi-fi clarity yet never lose their attack and definition no matter how hard they are pushed. A chrome cover with a 3 3 exposed pole piece design and Fender logo completes the vintage-'70s vibe. As popular music roared with the fatter tones of humbuckers at the dawn of the 1970s, Fender hired acclaimed pickup designer Seth Lover to create a distinctly Fender-flavored take on a higher-output dual-coil pickup. The resulting Wide Range pickup used large bobbins and threaded CuNiFe-rod magnets to achieve its distinctively brilliant sound, as heard on that era's Telecaster Custom, Thinline and Deluxe guitars.

Other features include a four-ply brown shell pickguard, three-way blade pickup switch, hardtail Strat bridge, Schaller “F” tuners, bone nut, and wing string tree with nylon spacer. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
