The Axis Super Sport semi-hollow builds upon the familiar aspects of the solid body Axis Super Sport by adding 2 chambers on either side of the pickups and an attractive “M” sound hole on top. The tonewood/pickup combination is exact to the Axis and Super Sport models which is perfectly suited for hard edge rock tones but can also deliver a subtle dynamic voicing at lower volume levels. The result is a resonant and lighter guitar with smooth lows, airy highs, and a very responsive attack.
