This incredibly lightweight Collings I-35 LC semi-hollow is uniquely designed to produce a perfect harmony between the acoustic sound and electronics. Using the vintage semi-hollow build as a framework, Bill Collings and his engineering team developed a new custom laminate technique that helps preserve the classic semi-hollow sound when used electrically at higher volumes.
Electronics and hardware features like Gotoh SG301 tuners, Kluson tune-o-matic bridges and tailpieces, and low-wind Lollar imperials for chimey tones and consistent midrange projection. The maple body and top with a Honduran mahogany neck look phenomenal in the Brock Burst finish, resulting in a vintage look that plays better than ever. Just take a gander at the specs below!
