The Novo Voltur J Custom in Toasted Marshmallow is an instrument of understated elegance, vintage character, and modern refinement, bringing together distinctive aesthetics and thoughtfully selected components in a beautifully balanced design. Its Toasted Marshmallow finish carries a warm, inviting glow, complemented by a medium distress level that lends the instrument the soulful appearance of a well-loved classic. The tempered pine body offers a distinctive foundation, while the matching peghead creates a seamless visual flow. Cream neck binding traces the fingerboard with a touch of timeless sophistication, and the black pickup rings, Toasted Marshmallow pickguard, Dumble knobs, and black switch tip complete a carefully considered palette of contrasting details. Weighing just 7 lbs 5 oz, this Voltur J Custom promises a comfortable, resonant feel with a presence that is as captivating on stage as it is in the studio.

At the heart of its playing experience is a tempered maple neck paired with an ebony fingerboard, combining strength, stability, and a smooth, responsive playing surface. The medium C neck shape, measuring .830 inches, offers a familiar and reassuring grip, while the 25.5-inch scale length delivers the articulation, string tension, and expressive clarity players seek across a wide range of styles. A compound fingerboard radius of 9.5 to 14 inches provides a comfortable feel for chord work in the lower positions and a flatter surface for fluid bends and confident lead playing higher up the neck. Mother-of-toilet-seat dot inlays add a subtle vintage accent, while the Jescar FW57110-S stainless steel jumbo frets, measuring .110 by .057 inches, provide a smooth, durable playing surface designed for precise fretting, effortless movement, and lasting performance.

The tonal character of the Novo Voltur J Custom is shaped by a set of Lollar Firebird pickups, bringing a distinctive blend of clarity, articulation, and rich harmonic texture to its voice. Their expressive response allows individual notes to shine through with definition, while chords retain depth and dimension, offering a versatile palette for everything from crystalline cleans to driven, singing tones. A Mastery M1 bridge works in harmony with the Novo Vibrato, fitted with its signature Lightning Bolt arm, delivering expressive pitch movement and a carefully engineered foundation for musical control. Novo 18:1 locking tuners provide accurate, dependable tuning adjustments, while the Dumble knobs offer intuitive control over the instrument's response. Strung with Stringjoy 10–48 strings, this Voltur J Custom is thoughtfully appointed for a playing experience that feels lively, articulate, and ready to follow every nuance of the player's touch.

Every element of this Novo Voltur J Custom reflects a meeting of craftsmanship, individuality, and purposeful design. From the tactile character of its medium-distressed Toasted Marshmallow finish to the smooth feel of its ebony fingerboard and the expressive versatility of its Lollar Firebird pickups, it is an instrument built to inspire exploration rather than dictate a single musical direction. Its carefully selected hardware, comfortable proportions, and balanced 7-pound, 5-ounce weight make it equally at home in intimate recording sessions, extended rehearsals, and the bright lights of the stage. Completing the package is a Novo Deluxe Padded Soft Case, providing a protective and practical companion for the road ahead. Distinctive in appearance and articulate in voice, the Novo Voltur J Custom in Toasted Marshmallow offers a compelling blend of vintage soul, contemporary precision, and unmistakable personality.
