Its 22-watt push-pull Class AB design uses dual 6V6 output tubes to deliver full-bodied cleans, smooth natural overdrive, and a rich harmonic response that feels equally at home on stage or in the studio. At its heart is Magnatone's original true pitch-shifting stereo varistor vibrato, which can be switched to conventional tremolo for a more traditional pulsing effect. Vibrato and tremolo speed can be adjusted remotely with an optional expression pedal rated from 20 to 50 kΩ. High and low sensitivity inputs provide additional flexibility, while the bass control offers a 12 dB range at 60 Hz and the treble control provides a 14 dB range at 2 kHz.

The Twilighter's tube-driven reverb uses four counterwound springs in a long-pan configuration, adding a spacious, organic ambience that complements its rich tube voice. Its tube complement consists of four 12AX7s, one 12AU7, two 6V6s, and a GZ34 tube rectifier. Two custom-voiced 12-inch Magnatone speakers with ceramic magnets deliver the amplifier's full, articulate sound with depth and dimension, while the stereo design enhances the expansive character of its signature vibrato.
