A celebrated Gibson design elevated to true collector status, the Gibson Custom Shop Dove Anniversary Limited Edition is an exceptionally rare acoustic limited to just 100 guitars worldwide. Combining the iconic Dove body shape with premium tonewoods, distinctive appointments, and a stunning Cremona Burst finish, this instrument offers the look, feel, and character expected from a Custom Shop creation.
The bearclaw spruce top provides both striking visual appeal and a lively, articulate response, while the mahogany back and sides contribute warmth, richness, and strong fundamental presence. The body is finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and accented with multi-ply top and back binding, a classic Dove tortoiseshell pickguard, and elegant gold-toned appointments.
The mahogany neck features a comfortable Round profile and a 25.5-inch scale length, paired with a 12-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard. Traditional mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays provide a sophisticated touch, while the headstock is finished with the iconic Gibson script logo inlay.
A Dove bridge, bone saddle and nut, TUSQ bridge pins, and Grover Keystone tuning machines complete the premium hardware package. For amplified performance, the guitar is equipped with a L.R. Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup system with dedicated volume and tone controls, offering a natural amplified response while retaining the character of the acoustic voice.
