Used – Santa Cruz 1929 00 Custom – 1930s Honduran Mahogany (2021)
This one of a kind Santa Cruz 1929 00 Custom has been built with highly coveted sets of Richard Hoover’s 1930s harvested Honduran Mahogany. This wood simply cannot be replicated by any means of modern treatment or modification. This wood is old, stable, light weight and as resonant as you can possibly imagine. This is the one guitar of its kind to have the 1930s harvested Honduran Mahogany used as the top wood, as well as the back and sides. The Ebony headstock veneer, fingerboard and bridge cleanly complete a very vintage looking package. It’s uncommon to see a Santa Cruz with no front-facing logo, and this guitar has the SCGC logo engraved into the rear facing Ebony heelcap.
