The Laurel Canyon is Matchless’ first ever 6V6 amp influenced by the timeless music created by the legendary musicians who resided in Laurel Canyon in the 60s and 70s.

For the Laurel Canyon, we developed a more compact cabinet in consideration of the needs of the on the go musician desiring more portability. We tested several different cabinet sizes until we found the one that hit the sweet spot between portability and ability to showcase the tonal range of the Laurel Canyon to the fullest. Controls are Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble, and Master Volume.

Powered by one 5AR4 rectifier tube, 2 x 6V6s and driven by three 12AX7s. The combination creates an unbelievably robust sound.

‍The standard effects loop is a ¼” send and ¼” return non buffered loop. Only time base effects are recommended such as reverb pedals, delays, chorus, etc. Boost and gain pedals are recommended to be placed in front of the amp to avoid clipping the phase inverter.
