The Woodrite Warlord Standard in Silverburst is a weaponized slab of doom authority, built to punish amplifiers, dominate low tunings, and make every riff feel like it is dragging chains across concrete. A collaboration between Steve Reis of Does It Doom and Woodbine Guitars, Woodrite Guitars are designed with a clear understanding of what heavy players actually need: massive tone, rock solid stability, stripped down controls, and a look that feels just as dangerous as the sound coming out of the speakers.
The Warlord Double Cut shape gives this guitar a fierce, commanding presence, while the mahogany body and maple top deliver the right balance of weight, sustain, attack, and clarity. Finished in Silverburst under a gloss polyurethane clearcoat, it has that cold, menacing stage presence that feels equally at home in doom, sludge, stoner rock, heavy psych, and straight up riff worship. White body and neck binding sharpen the outline, while chrome hardware, a black pickguard, black reflector knobs, and a black switch tip keep the whole thing looking ruthless and refined.
At 10 lbs 8 oz, this is not a polite instrument. It has real mass, and that mass translates into authority. Notes hit hard, chords hang in the air, and low tuned riffs have the kind of physical weight that makes the whole room feel unstable. The 24.75 inch scale length keeps the feel powerful and playable, especially in factory C Standard tuning, with the strings tuned C, F, A sharp, D sharp, G, and C. Loaded with D’Addario EXL145 strings, gauged .012, .016, .020 plain, .032, .042, and .054, the Warlord is ready to handle low tension, big bends, and crushing rhythm work without losing control.
The mahogany neck features a medium C profile measuring .800 inches at the first fret and .875 inches at the twelfth, giving it a fast, comfortable feel without becoming thin or weak in the hand. The ebony fingerboard, 12 inch radius, split anvil inlays, and jumbo stainless steel frets make it feel precise, durable, and aggressive under the fingers. Whether you are laying into slow, suffocating doom chords, grinding through thick mid tempo riffs, or pushing leads through heavy gain, the Warlord stays focused and responsive.
The hardware is built for the job. A GraphTech TUSQ XL nut, Grover Keystone tuning machines, TonePros Tune O Matic bridge, and TonePros stop bar tailpiece give this guitar the tuning stability, sustain, and reliability needed for serious heavy playing. Everything about the setup feels intentional, from the low tuned string choice to the direct control layout.
The real violence comes from the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Colossal Incantation pickups. This matched set gives the Warlord a massive, punishing voice with thick low end, grinding mids, and enough clarity to keep huge chords from collapsing into mud. They are brutal without being sloppy, aggressive without losing definition, and perfectly suited for players who want their tone to feel ancient, loud, and absolutely merciless. With one volume, one tone, and a three way toggle switch, the control layout stays simple and deadly.
The Woodrite Warlord Standard Silverburst is built for the player who wants more than a guitar that looks heavy. This thing is heavy. It feels heavy, sounds heavy, and carries itself like it was made to summon riffs from somewhere deep underground. Includes a custom fitted Woodrite Guitars hardshell case.
