The Hotbox III is a two-channel tube preamp housed in a mirror polished, heavy-duty stainless steel enclosure with overdrive and interactive tone control. The Hotbox III is a two-channel tube preamp housed in a mirror polished, heavy-duty stainless steel enclosure with overdrive and interactive tone control. The latest version of the much loved Hotbox now has true bypass, a detachable power cord and an enclosure redesigned for better foot control and to fit seamlessly into your pedalboard or to be used alone.
The Hotbox III is always active – your signal will always go through a tube enabling you to produce an impressive range of tone regardless of whether you’ve selected the overdrive mode. Experimentation with the Hotbox III will yield surprising results even allowing for subtle distortion and impressive gain through the clean channel. The Hotbox can be used like an active direct box to go directly into a recording or PA mixer.
The Hot Box III packs in a wide variety of tone and its’ simplicity of controls makes it easy to dial in crisp overdrive, smooth blues/rock sustain, or intense growl. It’s a perfect complement to any amp on the market.
