This JP guitar is a celebration of the original John Petrucci BFR model. Featuring an alder body with a mahogany tone block and figured maple top for a complex depth of tone and articulation. Offering a slim Honduran Mahogany neck with East Indian Rosewood fingerboard and stainless steel frets which combine to provide a lightning-fast playing experience. The guitar is powered by high output Dimarzio Liquifire & Crunch Lab humbuckers with a coil-splitting tone pot and the acoustic sounds of a piezo-equipped bridge. A 3-way switch on the upper horn allows you to toggle between or combine the sounds of the humbuckers and piezo system while a pair of output jacks allow you to run the guitar in mono or stereo. The Ernie Ball Music Man floating JP tremolo system works in tandem with Schaller locking tuners to provide exceptional tuning stability.
