The Martin D-35 is a dreadnought model from Martin, known for its incredible bass response. Featuring the traditional solid Sitka spruce top, the Martin D35 is generally used for rhythm playing, because the bass tones are so strong. However, the D-35 does compensate for the treble by using 1/4" top braces as opposed to the traditional 5/16" top braces used in the other dreadnought models.
