Built in the iconic Les Paul body style and shape, it features a two-piece figured maple top, fitted with hide glue, paired with a one-piece lightweight mahogany back. This traditional tonewood combination—constructed with no weight relief—delivers the unmistakable depth, sustain, and harmonic complexity that define legendary 1960 Les Paul Standards. Finished in nitrocellulose VOS (Vintage Patina), the Tomato Soup Burst captures the vibrant, slightly red-leaning character seen on rare original bursts, complete with a subtly aged look and feel.

The solid mahogany neck is shaped to the V2 slim C-profile, reflecting the slimmer, faster necks found on many 1960 examples. Comfortable and articulate in the hand, it offers effortless playability without sacrificing vintage correctness. A long tenon neck joint with hide glue fit ensures maximum resonance and stability, while the classic 24.75" scale length keeps string tension supple and expressive.
