The Paul Reed Smith Eddie's Guitars Wood Library Studio in Aquableux is a standout build that blends premium tonewoods, sought after specifications, and the unmistakable character of a Wood Library run. It starts with a Quilt Maple Ten Top finished in Aquableux, paired with a Mahogany body for a mix of snap, sustain, and warmth. The figured Maple neck is stained to complement the top, and it is topped with a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. Eddie’s WL J Birds with centers, outlined in gold mother of pearl with paua centers, give the guitar a distinctive upscale look.

The Pattern neck carve offers a familiar, comfortable feel, supported by depth measurements of seven eighths of an inch at the first half fret and sixty one sixty fourths of an inch at the twelve and a half fret, with widths of one eleven sixteenths at the nut and two and one quarter inches at the body. A ten inch radius and twenty two frets complete the playing platform.

Electronics include a McCarty II treble pickup paired with two PRS Narrowfield pickups in the middle and bass positions. The control setup features a volume, a push pull tone control, and a five way blade switch, giving the guitar wide versatility across single coil flavored tones and full humbucker power. Hardware is smoked black throughout, featuring a PRS Gen III tremolo and PRS Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons. The guitar ships with PRS Signature 10 to 46 strings and a hard black paisley case. Weight is eight pounds five ounces.
