The Collings SoCo is a unique guitar thanks to its semi-hollow construction with a maple center block, rosewood fingerboard with dot fingerboard inlays, Honduran mahogany body, and Curly Maple top. Its distinct sound and feel can be credited to Lollar Low-Wind Imperial pickups, PLEK machine leveling, and ergonomic neck heel and lock neck tenon.
