The Collings I-35 LC in Faded Cherry is the latest addition to our electric guitar family. The semi-hollow delivers a full tonal spectrum, from clean highs to an incredibly articulate bass response. Because the construction of the I-35 is designed to send more controlled information to the electronics, Collings was able to use higher output electronics: Throbak Humbucker pickups. This creates a smooth, well-balanced sound, desired by professional guitarists, especially those looking for classic semi-hollow or jazz-like tones.
The newest addition to our I-35 Series features high quality laminate construction (LC) that faithfully reproduces the vintage semi-hollow tone and response desired by professional working musicians. Built alongside their solid wood counterparts with the same meticulous attention to detail, the new LC's offer a unique tone that expands upon the sonic palette of our electric line.
