With a Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp, any bass will sound a little different. The Grand Dark, which is based on the California II TM model, has several advantages, even if you ignore its amazing looks. When you combine brand-new Sandberg Plus pickups, a 35" scale, and the Matte Black finish, you have something truly exceptional. These features of the bass are recognizable since Sandberg has thankfully not gone overboard with the body and headstock designs. This model is equipped with a Matte Black finish and a matching headstock. The pau ferro fingerboard's 22nd fret is accessible through a deep bottom cutaway, and its front and rear curves enhance playability.
