This year, the '68 Jazz Bass® Journeyman Relic® is a rare find. Its amazing characteristics have made it a favorite among pros and players alike. One unusual combination of designs from that year that is particularly interesting and is a maple fingerboard with black block inlays. The two-piece select alder body boasts a well-worn Journeyman Relic lacquer finish, while the quartersawn maple neck has a vintage 7.25"-radius quartersawn maple fingerboard, twenty medium jumbo (6150) frets, and a "Jazz Bass U" profile reminiscent of the 1960s.

Custom Shop hand-wound vintage Jazz Bass pickups with the traditional three-knob Jazz Bass control arrangement (master tone, bridge pickup volume, and middle pickup volume) produce captivating and dramatic tones. A four-ply brown shell pickguard, a four-saddle vintage-style bridge, and vintage-style tuning machines.
