Beautifully finished with a tobacco sunburst color pattern under a gloss-finish body, this striking Taylor T5z Standard guitar serves up a rich voice with a uniquely malleable character. An electric guitar with hollowbody construction, the T5z Standard is a kind of hybrid that can produce both high-octane leads and soft, mellow acoustic tones thanks to its innovative pickup configuration. An acoustic body sensor complements two high-definition humbuckers, all controlled by a five-way switch that enables a range of pickup combinations, all uniquely voiced to inspire your musical exploration. Electric players will feel right at home on this guitar’s neck, which features a nut width of 1-11/16”, jumbo frets and a characteristically comfortable Taylor neck. Visually, the sunburst finish sets off other appointments such as sharp white binding, F-holes and Small Diamond fretboard inlays in Italian acrylic.
