For over 20 years, Old Standard Wood has been the go-to supplier of Red Spruce for America’s best instrument makers. C.F. Martin & Co., Collings Guitars, Santa Cruz Guitar Company, Circa Guitars and Taylor Guitars are just a few companies who trust Old Standard Wood with their discerning need for amazing Adirondack.
A few years ago Old Standard Wood supplied Eastman Guitars with some of their fabulous spruce, and we’re really blown away by the results of this collaboration.

We haven’t seen too many of these Eastman Old Standard Custom models out there, but all that we’ve seen have been outstanding. As you can see, the Adirondack Spruce top chosen for this guitar is of top tier quality and is prized for its light weight and stiff nature, as well as its clean and consistent grain appearance.
