We think of the OMS as the 12 fret version of the OM, as opposed to the other way around. It boasts all the tonal properties of our OM, with the added power and fullness of a 12 Fret. The 12 Fret design places the soundhole closer to the waist of the guitar and locates the bridge at the widest part of the lower bout, where it can most efficiently drive the top. This throwback design allows maximum power with minimum playing effort, while affording a loose, open quality to the sound.
This particular instrument was on display at the 2018 NAMM Show In Anahiem, California. We were lucky enough to acquire this show piece for Eddies's Guitars.
