The Bourgeois OMC-42 with Aged Tone Sitka Spruce and HIGHLY figured Koa is just wild! These are among the most beautifully figured tonewoods you'll ever find. The Bearclaw figuring that is present in the Aged Tone Sitka Spruce is incredibly rare, and creates a waterfall-like visual effect and has tremendous depth. The EXTRA curly Koa back and sides are luscious and it's what we wished all Koa looked like.
Tonally, the guitar is magnificent. Lush harmonic overtones easily pour out of this guitar with ease, and the long sustain will make you want to play all your usual songs with more patience and emotion. A dramatic guitar, visually and tonally - but Dana and his crew have executed this piece with finesse and grace. There may never be another quite like this again...
