At the heart of its sound is a premium tonewood combination: a AAA flame maple top paired with a mahogany back and sides. This pairing yields a tonal profile that balances warmth and clarity—mahogany contributes depth and midrange richness, while the flame maple top adds brightness, definition, and visual elegance. The traditional scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance and responsiveness, allowing the top to vibrate freely and produce a lively, dynamic sound. Finished in a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the body not only looks stunning in its vintage sunburst hue but also benefits from a finish that allows the wood to age and open up tonally over time.
