Expertly hand-wound by Fender® Custom Shop Master Pickup Winder Josefina Campos, the Dual-Mag II Strat pickups deliver a beautifully balanced tone, with sparkling highs and full, rich lows. This is achieved through a blend of alnico 2 and 5 magnets: unbeveled alnico 5 magnets from the low E to G strings, and hand-beveled alnico 2 magnets for the B and high E. Each pickup is also wrapped in copper shielding tape to minimize noise.

With a unique custom stagger design that includes a “low G” magnet, these pickups ensure a smooth tonal transition between wound and plain strings. The alnico 5 under the G string helps it resonate perfectly, while the slightly taller alnico 2 magnets for the B and high E strings enhance overall balance across all strings.
