Crafted with specifications selected by Sweetwater’s guitar specialists and powered by a trio of their exclusive Sugarbucker pickups, the Gibson SG Supreme Koa offers an elevated take on Gibson’s legendary double-cut design. This Sweetwater Exclusive model features a mahogany body topped with a beautifully figured koa cap — a striking departure from the all-mahogany build of traditional SGs. A sculpted neck heel ensures smooth access across the SlimTaper mahogany neck, paired with a 10–16-inch compound-radius ebony fingerboard adorned with elegant mother-of-pearl Super Split Block inlays.

Tonally, this SG delivers exceptional versatility thanks to three Alnico IV–loaded Sugarbuckers, modern PAF-style humbuckers developed collaboratively by Sweetwater’s guitar team and Gibson Pickup Product Manager Jared Brandon. The control layout includes a master tone and three volume knobs, each with push-pull functionality for a wide variety of coil-tapped sounds. Completing the package is a suite of gold-accented hardware, including Grover Keystone locking tuners and a sustain-rich Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge.
