The result of more than two years of teamwork from Grammy Award-winning musician John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith, the PRS Silver Sky takes advantage of the best features of the early 60’s guitars that belonged to Mayer. Vintage design teams up with modern improvements with a modified, inverted headstock, locking PRS closed-back tuners, a 7.25” radius fretboard, and classically designed steel tremolo incorporates PRS’s trem arm and Gen III knife-edge screws. With a bridge built flush to the body, the Silver Sky is acoustically louder and the 635JM single-coil pickups are very round and full, with a musical high end that is never brash.
