The product of over two years of collaboration between Grammy Award-winning musician John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith, the vintage inspired PRS Silver Sky is based off of Mayer and Smith’s favorite elements from Mayer’s instruments from the early 60s.

With vintage design married to modern improvements, this guitar has a modified, inverted headstock, locking PRS closed-back tuners, a 7.25” radius fretboard, and classically designed steel tremolo that incorporates PRS’s trem arm and Gen III knife-edge screws. With a bridge built flush to the body, the Silver Sky is acoustically louder and the 635JM single-coil pickups are very round and full, with a musical high end that is never brash.
