Fender Eddie's Guitars Exclusive Custom Shop 1957 Stratocaster Roasted Ash Heavy Relic - Smoke Green

Tone and class are both top notch on this Fender Custom Shop ’57 Strat which is built with a roasted ash body as well as a roasted 3A flame maple neck – the roasting process eliminates excess moisture and sugars for rock-solid stability and extra punchy tones. The guitar has a three handwound Custom Shop pickups for a wide range of Strat tones. Super helpful when you’ve got some gain on tap.

Back in Summer of 2019, we were invited to visit the Fender Custom Shop in Corona, CA. after their Dealer Showcase Event in the deserts of Palm Springs. After touring the factory and talking shop with some of Fender's top Master Builders, Brett sat down in the design lab to create what would become Eddie's Guitars first exclusive Fender Custom Shop instruments.
 
This small run of Strats takes some of our favorite appointments from the 1950s and meshes them with modern day appointments for the ultimate in sonic qualities and playability. For the person that craves the vintage Strat sound, but never wants to fight with their guitar, these are for you! We were also allowed to pick lumber to ensure that the lightest weight and most sonically interesting pieces were selected for our guitars.
