This name signifies dealers who have earned the title, and many of them are delighted to offer special Custom Shop models created specifically for them. These outstandingly crafted Dealer Select instruments are truly remarkable in tone, feel and performance, and they are available only from a select few Custom Shop Showcase Dealers.

For over 50 years Eddie’s Guitars has been offering the best selection of handmade and boutique stringed instruments. When we commission our special Eddie's Guitars Exclusive instruments, we make them the very same way we, ourselves, would love to own them.. And in most cases, our guys DO end up owning them! Remaining true to the most innovative era of electric guitars, we also added our own taste and specs to create something that would feel familiar and new at the same time as well as appeal to the vintage enthusiast and modern guitar players alike.

We were able to work closely with our friends at the Fender Custom Shop to have some extra unique Custom Shop 1963 Telecasters built. Unlike most early 60s Fenders, ours have Roasted Maple necks - with the usual rosewood fretboards. Paired with the light weight Roasted Ash body, this '63 Tele is as lively and resonant as can be. Acoustically, it's loud, clear and articulate with outstanding sustain.

When you plug it in, you'll quickly start to realize the magic in our Handwound Eddie's Exclusive '63 Telecaster Single Coil Pickups. These pickups are based on Custom Shop Hand Wound '63 pickups but tweaked to our liking to add a bit of funky, scooped-mids, and a bit throatier - though not overwound - bridge pickup. This results in an incredibly dynamic set up pickups that have a breath of their own, and a wide range of versatility. We decided to stay true on these and have them wired up they way they were intended with 1963 wiring for the pickups and controls. That gives you that nice biting and twang in the bridge pickup and a sweet and mellow neck pickup.
