Ibanez is proud to introduce his signature 6-String Hollow Body Bass Guitar the TCB1006. The hollow body is built with Quilted Maple top, Curly Maple back and sides, all dressed in a beautiful transparent matte burst finish. The structure is designed to provide a balanced tone, have superior durability and avoid unnecessary feedback.

The neck is a 5-piece Maple/Purpleheart set-in neck, with a reinforced structure to withstand the tension of six strings. To avoid neck-dive, the TCB1006 features lightweight machine-heads, Hipshot Ultralite™ Tuners. These tuners reduce the weight and provide the model with the same balance of a hollow body and neck.

One of the biggest features of this model is the Graph Tech Ghost® modular pickup system. The system offers Piezo and MIDI output options to the player in addition to the magnetic sound. Players can quickly and smoothly control various tones by two knobs and three toggle switches; Piezo/ Magnetic /Mix, MIDI program up/down, and Mid/Dark (natural Ghost® acoustic sound/mid-boost) switches.
