It's been quite a long time since we've seen one of these beauties in our shop, and we imagine it might be long time before we see another...

The Martin D-28CWB is the Tribute/Signature model for Mr. Clarence White. This incredibly powerful and beautiful guitar was built with the tried and true tonewood combination of Adirondack Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood. Based on Clarence's 1935 D-28 (which was later famously owned and played by Tony Rice) that he purchased in 1959, this large sound holed, blank fingerboard-ed monster is instantly recognizable by any guitar or bluegrass enthusiast.

This recreation was made in extremely limited numbers, with only 150 total being produced. This example is number 76 of 150.

Other specifications include:

  • Adirondack Spruce Top
  • Brazilian Rosewood Back & Sides
  • Herringbone Top Purfling
