Fender Custom Shop's 1964 Jazz Bass Journeyman Relic is a Limited Edition piece. It has a truly remarkable aesthetic, from its Journeyman Relic finish package, which delivers all the dents, dings, and scratches of a well-played vintage instrument, to its Burgundy Mist Metallic color. Thanks to vintage-style hardware and period-correct specs, when you pick this bass up, it's as if you were picking up an original 1964 model. Its 1960 Jazz Bass "U" shape is authentic to the sixties, while 20 narrow tall frets over a 7.25" round-laminated AAA Rosewood fingerboard furthers the bass's playing comfort and vintage authenticity. And thanks to a pair of Hand Wound Vintage Jazz Bass pickups with Alnico 5 magnets, you get the bright, lively tone that made the Jazz Bass a favorite among countless bassists when it first arrived on the scene.
