We're always excited and attentive when a new (to us) Raymond Kraut creation arrives at our shop. This 14 Fret 00 is one of stunning beauty, showcasing a Master Grade Italian Spruce top and TO DIE FOR Birdseye Maple for the back and sides, as well as the front and rear facing headstock veneers. Ray's ability to produce a full, rich, complex, long sustaining voice from his comfortable 00 model is simply magical. Once played, it's easy to observe that this is a lightly built instrument - and for that reason, the guitar is incredibly responsive to even the lightest attack. While its sweet spot favors fingerstyle playing, it will handle a flat pick, or finger picks with ease. This is a very well rounded, dynamically lively instrument with a beautiful Tuxedo-like presentation.
