From selecting the wood (Private Stock Carved Figured Maple and Mahogany) and specifying exclusive “brushstroke” bird inlays to choosing the two narrow 408 pickups, Paul was actively involved in every step of the guitar-building process. Additionally, the Experience PRS Paul’s Guitar now includes the choice of PRS’s tremolo bridge or a stoptail bridge with Brass inserts. According to Paul, “The stoptail bridge is still our aluminum bridge but at the point at which the string starts vibrating it’s brass to promote the musical high range of the guitar.” 

This is a truly unique and master-craft instrument, which is what you’d expect when you are getting the same guitar Paul Reed Smith himself plays.

This particular instrument was hand picked by Eddie’s Guitars in Stevensville, Maryland at the 2018 PRS Experience Event.
