One of the many perks of working with world renown luthier Nik Huber is having full confidence that an idea will be masterfully executed. We love to see a plan come together and are very proud to present our Krautster IIs in Eddie's Exclusive Aged Silverburst.

Our roots stretch all the way back to 1971... A time long before top-shelf, small batch builders like Nik Huber walked the Earth. Back when rock n' rollers came to rely upon the legendary blue-collar, Midwestern built instruments we all now know and love. This one specifically takes inspiration from one of our favorite vintage Norlin-era instruments, the Silverbust "Custom Model" of the classic single-cut design.

After combing the internet to find the coolest examples, we decided on what the "right" hue would be for the perfectly preserved and enjoyed vintage Silverburst. We corresponded with our friends in Germany, they took note, and dare we say they perfected the color.

These guitars feature premium double-bound Mahogany bodies, premium bound Mahogany necks, and Ebony fretboards with Block inlays. In addition to Nik's magic, these instruments also feature PAFs and P90s from fellow German tone-hound, Harry Haussel. These are among the very best of the best PAF style pick-ups and truly must be heard to be appreciated. We like these so much we import then to use with other worthy builders

We love to see this finish getting it's due and proper in modern times, as it is truly iconic. Much like a proper Offset guitar, the Silverburst was always championed by the underground kings. Imagery of Chris Cornell and Adam Jones come to an immediate thought due to their prolific use of these instruments, but that's not to discredit the countless riff masters across Planet Earth that had the metaphoric balls to step on a stage with a Silverburst slung across their shoulder.
